Stoneham man killed in ATV crash

STONEHAM, Maine — Maine State Police are investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle crash.

Police believe the crash happened sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday in Stoneham. A passing driver found the victim, 51-year-old James Mullen of Stoneham, on the road.

WLBZ-TV reports that police believe driver inattention caused Mullen to be thrown from the vehicle and they are still investigating whether alcohol was a factor.
