Bangor sweeps Presque Isle

At Bangor, Bangor pitching held Presque Isle to just five total hits as the Comrades posted 14-0 and 17-0 shutout wins.
In the first game, Joe Stanevicz, Curtis Worcester and Devin Lyshon combined for no runs on three hits and one walk with seven strikeouts for Bangor. Ian Edwards doubled, singled and knocked in five runs. Jordan Clarke hit a triple, two singles and drove in two runs and Lonnie Hackett added two singles and three runs scored.
Ted Walker doubled to pace Presque Isle. Pat Thibodeau and Matt Chasse singled.
In the second game, Dylan Morris and Hackett each had two singles and a double for the Comrades. Shane Walton doubled and singled with two RBIs and Christian Corneil had two singles and two runs scored. Kyle Savage, Lyshon and Worcester combined for no runs on two hits and no walks with three strikeouts.
Manny Martinez and Wilder York singled for Presque Isle.

At Mansfield Stadium, Bangor, Ben Thayer hit two singles and a double to drive in three runs as Glenburn defeated Hermon.
Zeb Tuell had a triple and two singles for Glenburn. Andrew Catlin doubled, singled and knocked in two runs. Ben Bragg retired all eight batters he faced to earn the win.
Nick Theberge singled and drove in two runs for Hermon.

At Mansfield Stadium, Bangor, Bryan Rouleau pitched a one-hit shutout as Bangor beat Sebasticook.
Rouleau allowed one hit, three walks and struck out five for Bangor. Anthony Capuano had two doubles, a single and two RBIs.
Justin Kasprzak singled for Sebasticook.

At Mansfield Stadium, Bangor, Matt Dunning scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning on a one-out single by Evan Pelkey to lead Orrington to victory over Katahdin Valley.
Jeff Weeks and Ryan Gagne each doubled and singled for Orrington. Dillon Smith pitched 2¤ hitless relief to get the win.
Billy Livezey doubled, singled and drove in a run to pace Katahdin Valley.
