RANDOLPH, N.H. — Police are investigating a head-on crash in Randolph, N.H., that killed three people, including one from Maine.

Police say passengers in both cars were killed in the crash on Route 2 around 5 p.m. Friday.

Investigators say two people were killed in a car driven by 41-year-old Diane Silsby of Lunenburg, Vt. — her mother, 83-year-old Leona Dunn of Lancaster, and Silsby’s 15-year-old daughter.

Twenty-six-year-old Rachel Metivier of Lewiston, Maine, a passenger in the second car, also was killed. Both drivers and two young children in the second car are hospitalized with serious injuries.
