BANGOR – Gary D. Keyser, 56, passed away peacefully July 1, 2009, at home with his family at his side, after a long illness. He was born Aug. 13, 1952, the son of Walter and Angie (Henderson) Keyser. He attended Bangor schools and graduated from Bangor High School and attended Eastern Maine Technical College. He lived and worked in Missouri for a few years returning to Bangor in 1975. He worked at the University of Maine for many years. At the time of his illness, he was employed at Acadia National Park. He is survived by his mother, Angie (Henderson) Keyser of Bangor; his brother, Walter and Nancy of Levant; his wife, Della of Levant; and several cousins. He will be sadly missed by his dog, Princess. He was predeceased by his father, Walter. The family thanks Bob Swan, Don Libby and Len Gowen for their help and support during Gary’s illness; Dr. Lenz for his care of Gary for more than the past three years; and also Hospice of Eastern Maine for their care especially, Maria, Connie and Ann.
