AUGUSTA, Maine — The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention says the number of swine flu cases confirmed in the state has grown to 90.
The Maine CDC says eight new cases were reported on Monday, bringing the number to 67 cases among Maine residents and 23 among out-of-state visitors.
Also, 15 cases have been confirmed at seven different summer camps.
Officials say swine flu has been reported in 10 of the state’s 16 counties. So far, Aroostook, Franklin, Piscataquis, Somerset, Waldo and Washington counties have avoided the H1N1 virus.
