Astronauts walked in space to repair the Hubble telescope recently. Is this work still important? The space program gets about $16 billion from the federal government annually. Should this level of funding be maintained, increased or reduced in these fiscally constrained times? Should NASA’s mission be broadened, or perhaps refocused to address global climate change? Or should it be privatized completely?
Should NASA’s budget grow or be cut?
