BANGOR, Maine — Police are investigating a robbery at the Bank of America branch on Union Street in Bangor.
Investigators say a young man walked into the bank at about 9:10 a.m. Thursday, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed.
Police say the robber crossed the street and is believed to have made his getaway in a waiting vehicle.
The robber is described as white, in his early 20s and between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9, with a thin build. He was wearing a gray, hooded New England Patriots sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans.
