ELLSWORTH – Annabelle L. Buzzell, 84, wife of the late Leroy Buzzell, died April 26, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Ripley, the daughter of Raymond and Marion (Dunlap) York. She was a member of Senior Citizen Club of Ellsworth, Telephone Pioneers and Baptist Bible Study, Ellsworth. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by three children, Narda Wilkinson and her husband, Alan, of Kensington, N.H., Wayne Buzzell and his wife, Linda, of Ellsworth, and Rexford “Ricky” Buzzell and his wife, Vicki, of St. George, Utah; six grandchildren, Deborah and Brian Wilkinson, Vicki Wallace, Jeffrey, Christopher and Nickolas Buzzell; 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Erwin York and his wife, Holly, of Columbia, Md.; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including three special nieces, Bonnie, Belinda and Wilma, and one special cousin, Mina Faunce. A special thanks to her longtime caregiver, Judy Jellison for all the wonder care and attention. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Clarence “Bud” York. A funeral service will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth, where friends may visit noon until time of service.
