2nd suspect arrested in Maine bank robbery

BRIDGTON, Maine — Authorities say a second suspect has been arrested in Bridgton in connection with Friday’s robbery of the Bangor Savings Bank branch in Cornish.

The York County Sheriff’s Department says 22-year-old Matthew Jarvinen of Bridgton was taken into custody Monday on charges of bank robbery and violation of probation.

Arrested Friday evening on similar charges was Jeremy Chadwick-Flynn, who’s also 22 and from Bridgton.

The two suspects are being held in the York County Jail.
