ROCKLAND, Maine — Seven Cape Elizabeth High School students are in trouble with the law for allegedly drinking while in Rockland for last week’s Maine Drama Festival.

Deputy Chief William Tower of the Rockland Police Department told the Portland Press Herald on Wednesday that three 18-year-olds and four others who were 16 and 17 were issued summonses on charges of possession of alcohol by a minor.

Tower said one girl was treated at Penobscot Bay Medical Center after showing symptoms of alcohol poisoning. The summonses were issued Saturday night at Rockland District High School.
