Brewer High School senior center Dylan Fitzpatrick, the leading scorer in Class A’s Eastern Division with 27 goals and 24 assists in 20 games, is one of four finalists for the Travis Roy Award given to the state’s top senior Class A hockey player.

The winner will be announced at the Class A banquet at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center in Lewiston on Sunday.

The other finalists are Waterville defenseman Shawn Lee, St. Dominic of Auburn’s Richard Paradis, who made the switch from forward to defense this season, and Falmouth forward Mike Chase.

Paradis was the state’s top Tier 1 scorer with 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points in 22 games in leading St. Dom’s to the Class A West championship; Lee guided Waterville to the state championship by collecting 14 goals and 17 assists in 19 games and Chase had 21 goals and 24 assists for 45 points.

Tier 1 teams play at the highest level of Class A and represent well-established or consistently successful programs.

The award is named after the former North Yarmouth Academy star who became a quadriplegic when he fell into the boards awkwardly on his first shift after earning a hockey scholarship to Boston University.
