Lincolnville man sent to hospital after crash

ROCKLAND, Maine — A Lincolnville driver was hospitalized with neck pain after his vehicle was rear-ended Tuesday afternoon on Camden Street.

Ronald Pinkham, 59, of Pinkham Drive was stopped in traffic at 3:57 p.m. in his 2009 Saab when a 1998 Chevrolet driven by Christopher Brown, 25, of Epson, N.H., struck the rear of Pinkham’s sedan, according to a police report filed by Officer Joel Neal.

Pinkham complained of neck pain and was taken by Rockland Ambulance to Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Neither Brown nor his passenger, Joseph Brown, 2, was injured. The drivers were wearing seat belts and the boy was in a safety seat.

Damage to the Saab was estimated at $200, and damage to the Chevrolet was estimated at $25.
