Fire destroys New Gloucester mobile home

The Associated Press

NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine — Investigators say a weekend fire that drove a family of seven from their mobile home in New Gloucester started in a child’s bedroom.

One family member suffered a minor hand burn in the Saturday morning fire and a firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment of dehydration.

Fire Chief Gary Sacco said the home was a total loss.

The family is staying with relatives.
