BETHEL, Maine – A local man faces murder charges in connection with the death of a Raymond man whose body was found in his car on some railroad tracks in this western Maine town.
State Police arrested Agostino Samson, most recently of Bethel and Windham, for his alleged involvement in the Feb. 20 death of 25-year-old Scott Libby of Raymond.
Libby’s body was found in his vehicle on the rail road tracks on the barker Road in Bethel after it being struck by a train.
The medical examiner’s office determined the death to be a homicide. Examiners said the cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries of the head and neck.
Samson is expected to have his first court appearance in Oxford County Superior Court Thursday morning.
