CHERRYFIELD – Aleta L. Pedneault, 81, died peacefully Sunday, March 1, 2009, at her home. She was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Cherryfield, daughter of the late James and Sarah (Harrington) Tenan Jr. Mrs. Pedneault had many hobbies including embroidery, reading and shopping. She shared 51 years of marriage with Arthur G. Pedneault of Cherryfield. Family members include three children, Lawrence Brown, James Brown and wife, Mayuree, and Sarah Anderson and husband, Ronald; a stepson, Duane Pedneault; 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; a sister, Ramona Tenan; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including a nephew, Bruce Tenan and wife, Heather. She was predeceased by two sisters, Gloria LaCava and Pauline Tenan; a stepson, David Pedneault; and a stepdaughter, Joanne Pedneault. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge. A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Route 1, Steuben. Spring burial will be held at Morse Cemetery, Cherryfield.
