If you’re in the mood for a late-winter picker-upper, the Penobscot Fly Fishers may have just the ticket this weekend.

The Cabin Fever Reliever show is on tap at the Brewer Auditorium today and Sunday, with plenty of outdoor-oriented exhibits and hands-on activities.

Admission is free for the show, which runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The show is designed to promote traditional Maine outdoor activities and crafts through demonstration and education.

Door prizes will be awarded throughout the show and a food concession will be up and running.

Exhibitors include hunting dogs, fly tiers, artists, conservation camps, shotgun sports, taxidermy, decoy carving, handgun safety, bow hunting and becoming an outdoorswoman.

Children can learn to tie flies and shoot a bow and arrow, and crafters of pack baskets, canoe paddles, nets and knives will demonstrate their skills.

In addition, a full slate of speakers will talk about a variety of outdoor activities and programs.
