The newly renovated Collins Center for the Arts gets a jolt of international flavor this weekend with the annual International Dance Festival at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14. More than 100 dancers and crew members, garbed in colorful costumes, will perform the traditional dances of regions as diverse as India, western Africa, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Tibet, Iran, Brazil, the Middle East and Cuba, as well as some Western favorites like the waltz, swing, R&B and hip-hop. The dance festival is free, and organized by the International Student Association, a student club representing the diverse international community at UMaine. For more information, call 581-2905.
