United Way honors businesses

• Community Fund Awards, for earmarking the bulk of their gifts to United Way’s community fund — Berry, Dunn, McNeil and Parker (small company); N.H. Bragg (medium); Sargent Corp. (large).

• Most Improved Employee Campaign — Millinocket Regional Hospital, which quadru-pled its campaign.

• Campaign Chair’s Awards, for highest increases in giving — WoodenBoat Publications (small), Darling’s (medium) and Sargent Corp (Large).

• Campaign Leader Awards — Bangor Savings Bank, largest corporate donor; Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, largest workplace campaign.

• Outstanding Agency Award — Amicus.

• Outstanding Employee Campaign Manager — Susan Falloon, Bangor Hydro-Electric Co.

• Irene M. Gray Outstanding Campaign Volunteer Award — Lynn Churchill, Alyson Dougherty-Kill and Karen Littlefield, Sargent Corp.

• Live United Award, for year-round support — Hanna-ford Supermarkets.
