Events schedule at CCA

The Collins Center for the Arts will reopen at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, with a “Sneak Peek” performance by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra to be followed at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, by the BSO’s “homecoming” performance. The BSO has been playing in Peakes Auditorium at Bangor High School during the renovation. Fittingly, the program will include Bee-thoven’s “Consecration of the House,” as well as his “Emperor” Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-Flat Major with guest pianist Joel Fan, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 in E Minor.
