At Islesboro, Cody Gilboe scored 31 points as Forest Hills of Jackman held off Islesboro. Cory Plante had 23 points for the Tigers and Dylan McNally added 16 points. Jason Hatch led the Eagles with 22 points. D.J. Johnson had 19 points and 11 steals and David Sherman scored 15 points.

Greenville 50, Calvary Chapel 36

At Greenville, Tony DiAngelo had 13 points and seven rebounds as Greenville beat Calvary Chapel of Orrington. Zac Austin led Calvary Chapel with 22 points.

So. Aroostook 65, LCS/MSSM 63

At Limestone, Dakota Sleeper scored 19 points as Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook held off Limestone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics. Parker Rossignol scored 15 points for the Warriors. Cody Robinson and Tyler Robinson had 14 points each. Brandon Hopkins led the Eagles with 19 points. Parker Rossignol had 15 points and Michael Allen scored 12 points. Josh Forsman hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to bring Limestone within two points.

Fort Fairfield 57, Van Buren 43

At Van Buren, Josh Booth led four players in double figures with 15 points as undefeated Fort Fairfield triumphed. Travis Noyes, Austin Dufour and Matt Cresenzo chipped in 12 points apiece for the Tigers. Derek Rossignol had 18 points and Johnny Allen 11 for Van Buren.

Brewer 75, Messalonskee 42

At Oakland, Ray Bessette paced three Witches in double figures with 17 points as they cruised to their 11th win. Coby Hutchins tossed in 16 points and Dom Drake 12 for Brewer. Matt Ouellette led Messalonskee with 18.

GHCA 66, Washburn 63

At Washburn, Chad Duff scored 18 points as Greater Houlton Christian Academy narrowly beat Washburn. Micah Wiley scored 17 points for the Eagles while Jaron Gray added 10 points. Senior Nick McIntosh scored a season-high 32 points for Washburn. Connor Fitzpatrick added 12 points.

DI-Stonington 48, B.C. 47

At Deer Isle, Eben Powers hit a shot with 26 seconds to play after Kevin Melano came up with a steal to lift Deer-Isle Stonington to the win. Powers finished with 32 points, 15 rebounds and three steals while Joe Carter chipped in with 12 points for the Mariners. Melano had three steals. Brett Bradford paced Bangor Christian with 27 points while Tyler Alexander had 10.

MCI 57, Waterville 32

At Pittsfield, Jacob Hunt scored 15 points as Maine Central Institute defeated Waterville. Nick Cook had 11 points for the Huskies. Nate Theriault led Waterville with 16 points.

Piscataquis 42, Penquis 30

At Guilford, Piscataquis out scored Penquis of Milo 15-2 in the fourth quarter to earn the win. Corbin Shufelt led the Pirates with 18 points. Nolan Lovell had nine points, seven rebounds and six assists while Dylan Izbicki chipped in 12 rebounds. Ryan Bailey scored 10 points to lead Penquis.

George Stevens 72, Ellsworth 57

At Blue Hill, Rashad Frazier scored 22 points and had eight rebounds to lead George Stevens Academy past Ellsworth. Nick Saunders had 15 points, five assists and a career-high 20 rebounds for the George Stevens. Elias Springer had 10 points, five assists and was eight-for-eight from the free throw line. Nick Doolittle scored 14 points and Pierre Dillon added nine assists. Andrew Austin led Ellsworth with 14 points while Kaleb Danico and Brad Folmer scored 10 points apiece.

MDI 61, Bucksport 29

At Bar Harbor, Nate Chisholm scored 14 points to help push Mount Desert Island past Bucksport. Jasper Cousins chipped in 12 points for the Trojans. Kyle McGeechan paced Bucksport with eight points.

Lee 41, Penobscot Valley 34

At Lee, junior forward Tyler Doty scored 12 of his team-high 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Pandas earned their fifth consecutive victory. Doty also grabbed five rebounds for 8-4 Lee Academy, which was locked in a 25-25 tie with Penobscot Valley of Howland through three quarters. Grant Sun added 10 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots for Lee, which was playing its fourth game in six nights. Sophomore center Joey McCloskey paced Penobscot Valley with game-high totals of 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Jacob Jones scored eight points for the Howlers and Joey Brown grabbed eight rebounds.

Greenville 34, Calvary Chapel 24

At Greenville, Gretel Breton had seven points, five rebounds and four steals to lead Greenville past Calvary Chapel of Orrington. Saige Weeks recorded 11 rebounds for the Lakers. Hope Johnson scored 15 points to pace the Sabers.

Fort Kent 82, Van Buren 18

At Fort Kent, Emily Pelletier scored 26 points as Fort Kent routed Van Buren. Breanna Thibodeau scored 16 points for the Warriors. Sam Carapellucci had 12 points and 16 rebounds, Briana Witmer scored 11 points and Jamie Pelletier added 11 steals. Ashley Wilson led Van Buren with eight points.

Messalonskee 50, Brewer 41

At Brewer, Kaitlyn Deering scored 18 points and Hannah Dexter tossed in 10 more as Messalonskee of Oakland improved to 11-2 with its second victory over Brewer this season. Deering had six second-quarter points as Messalonskee outscored Brewer 13-4 to take a lead it would never relinquish. Sheri Valley’s game-high 22 points paced Brewer. Holly Nickerson had 11 points and Leah Jackson grabbed 16 rebounds.

Waterville 77, MCI 26

At Pittsfield, Morgan Frame scored 22 points to lift Waterville over Maine Central Institute. Jen Nale added 19 points for the Panthers. Whitney Houston paced the Huskies with six points.

Fort Fairfield 42, Hodgdon 30

At Fort Fairfield, Amanda Hotham scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds as undefeated Fort Fairfield outlasted upset-minded Hodgdon. Kaitlyn McLaughlin and Brooke Beaulieu had 10 points apiece for the winners. Hotham and Beaulieu combined for 11 fourth-quarter points as Fort Fairfield pulled away. Taylor Hovey’s 11 points led Hodgdon.

Washburn 41, GHCA 21

At Washburn, Rebecca Campbell totaled 15 points, 14 rebounds and five steals as Washburn beat Greater Houlton Christian Academy. Rachel Palmer scored 10 points for the Beavers. Kari Brewer led the Eagles with 11 points.

MDI 60, Bucksport 37

At Bucksport, Megan Phelps scored 18 points to lead Mount Desert Island of Bar Harbor past Bucksport. Jaimie Lanpher had 10 points and six rebounds for Bucksport.

Hermon 53, Central 47

At Hermon, Ashley Thayer scored six fourth-quarter points and Katie Durgin sank five free throws as Hermon outscored Central 19-11 to erase a two-point deficit. Durgin finished with a game-high 20 points and eight steals. Ashley Thayer had 11 points and Erin Arnold had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Ripley King contributed eight points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Pray’s 18 points and Bekka Campbell’s 14 more paced Central of Corinth.

Stearns 42, Penquis 35

At Milo, Samantha Lyons scored 11 of her 13 points in the second half to lead Stearns of Millinocket to victory over Penquis. Becca Leavitt added 11 points for the Minutemen. Erica Lyford scored 23 points to pace the Patriots.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

UMAINE-FARMINGTON 82, HUSSON 70

BANGOR — The University of Maine-Farmington came out intense from the start Tuesday night. The Beavers drew off their energy while building an early 13-point advantage on their way to an 82-70 North Atlantic Conference men’s basketball victory over Husson University on Tuesday night at Newman Gym. UMF (4-8, 2-2 NAC) dominated the rebounding action and also made most of their free throws to maintain the upper hand. Pat Howell scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds to pace the Beavers, while Andrew Dean tossed in 17 points. Josh Tanguay contributed 10 points and 17 rebounds, and Eric Lelansky and D.J. Gerrish added 10 points each. Brock Bradford of Kenduskeag paced Husson (5-9, 2-1 NAC) with 14 points, while Matt MacKenzie posted 12 points and six rebounds and Blaine Meehan of Winterport recorded 11 points and five rebounds.

USM 69, UMass Boston 44

At Gorham, Kaylie DeMillo scored 18 points to help lift the University of Southern Maine over the University of Massachusetts Boston. Nicole Garland added 14 points for the Huskies. Renee Nicholas scored 11 points, Kristi Violette had nine points and eight rebounds and Nicole Paradis totaled eight points, six assists and five steals. Laniece Langford led UMass Boston with 11 points.

Eastern Maine CC 63, Unity 48

At Unity, Nikki Kaulback had 18 points, eight assists and four steals as Eastern Maine Community College of Bangor prevailed. Jess Brown netted 16 points while Theresa Spielbenner added 12 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots for the winners. Bridgette Monk and Ashley Crocker had nine points apiece for Unity.
