EAGLE LAKE – Camille Pelletier, 91, entered into eternal rest Monday, Jan. 19, 2009. He was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Fort Kent, the son of Sophie (Bard) and Maxime Pelletier. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Evelyn Theriault Pelletier. His nine children, Muriel, Maurice, Patricia, Linda Mae, Emery, Danny, Rachel, Chuck and Dora; his companion, Helena Cormier; extended family and friends surrounded him through presence and prayers as he followed the light to happiness. He told them he had a good life and that he was ready for the long journey. Camille was a man of many talents who loved life and people. Often he would exclaim, “I love my children, I love my grandchildren…” He owned and operated a barbershop and grocery store. He also had a farm, built his own home, had a maple sugar camp, enjoyed fly-tying, auto body, the outdoors and much more. In other words, he was an entrepreneur. A summer celebration of his life and memorial Mass will be held at his camp and farm the weekend of July 4. More information will be available as the date nears.
