BREWER, Maine — Brewer Youth Theatre will present Neil Simon’s classic comedy “The Odd Couple” at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 15-17, at Brewer Middle School.

The story of mismatched roommates Felix Unger and Oscar Madison was a smash on Broadway when it debuted in 1965, and it went on to have several lives as a motion picture and then a long-running television series.

The Brewer Youth Theatre production features Jamie Bartol and Anthony Severance as Felix and Oscar.

Alex Davenport, Kyle Holyoke, Alek Sayers and Brian Vallanceas are the players in Oscar’s weekly poker game. Erika Cote and Kate Weigel play upstairs neighbors the Pigeon sisters. Rich Kimball directs “The Odd Couple” with sets designed by Adam Kuykendall and lighting by Brewer High School student John Philbrook.

Admission is $5, $3 students. There are no advance sales and tickets will be available at the door. For more information, call Rich Kimball at Brewer High School at 989-3760.
