Slippery road conditions as snow falls over state

The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Maine — Snow is falling across parts of Maine, making for slippery driving.

The snow began falling after midnight across southern Maine, and it’s beginning to make its way across the middle and eastern part of the state.

The National Weather Service has posted a winter weather advisory for southern and coastal Maine. Forecasters say those areas can expect from 3 to 6 inches of snow. A coastal flood warning is also posted from the Bath area to the New Hampshire line.
