BANGOR, Maine -Darren Casey-Covell had a hat trick and Johnny Warren added a pair of goals as Class A Bangor beat Class B Presque Isle 11-3 in a schoolboy hockey game Saturday.
Joey Seccareccia had a goal and two assists while Jacob Turmell, Nic Cota, Noah Frost and Ryan King each had a goal and an assist. Alan Reese added a goal and Adam King provided two assists. Zach Hamilton turned away 20 shots for the 4-2 Rams.
Brennen Shaw scored a goal and assisted on another for the 2-3-3 Wildcats. Dylan Collins and Jason Martin also scored. Connor Shaw recorded an assist. Josh MacFarline and Nic Davis combined for 23 saves.
JV: Presque Isle 6-2
Houlton-Hodgdon 6, Hampden 2
At Houlton, Ashir Abouleish and Cody Briggs scored two goals apiece to lead Houlton-Hodgdon by Hampden Academy. Abouleish also had an assist.
Lowell Matthews and Morgan Hall each added a goal for Houlton-Hodgdon. Craig Buxton, Ian Gervais, Logan Holmes, Avery McGuire and Matthews each had an assist. Malik Abouleish and Avery Kibler combined to make 30 saves for the 3-3-1 Black Hawks.
Marc Albert and Nate Rocker scored for 0-6 Hampden. Nate Baker and Cooper Williams each had an assist. Jacob Ward stopped 33 shots.
Bangor 11, Presque Isle 3
At Sawyer Arena, Bangor, Darren Casey-Covell had a hat trick as Bangor defeated Presque Isle.

During this busy sports season, the BDN asks that managers and coaches for the home teams promptly report the games. Games can be reported starting at 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Games can not be reported on Saturday.
