The show will consist of dances performed by local ballet and modern dancers. There will be seven pieces in the show, including a variety of styles — ballet, tap, contemporary and modern. Blunt will perform a solo from the ballet “Don Quixote,” the dance she will audition in Denver.

Tickets for the event are $8, $5 students.

Dancers in the show include Michelle Birmingham, Sarah Bishop, Elizabeth Bunker, Julie Bunker, Rachel Caron, Katie Clark, Shannon Dapice, Ariel Eaton, August Eaton, Amanda Fahey, Tommy McCarthy, Alex Michaud, Elizabeth Neslusan, Erin Norris and Ava Smith.

Blunt takes ballet class from Ivy Forrest, a former Balanchine dancer and a principal with the Joffrey Ballet, at Thomas School of Dance.

She also takes some classes at Robinson Ballet with Keith Robinson and Stevie Dunham. It was her third year being in Robinson Ballet’s “The Nutcracker.”

Blunt has been a member of Bangor Ballet for several years and has been in their productions of “Cinderella,” “Swan Lake,” “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Little Mermaid.”

She will have a solo role in Bangor Ballet’s dinner show, “A Midwinter’s Dream,” on Jan. 10.

In October, Blunt’s choreography, which will be in her Jan. 17 show, won the student choreography competition. It will be featured in “A Midwinter’s Dream.” In June, Bangor Ballet is performing “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
