The Friends of Sunkhaze Stream National Wildlife Refuge are offering an informative activity for those looking to learn more about the outdoors.
Lee Kantar, the state’s head deer and moose biologist for the Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, will host a hike through the refuge during which participants will search for wildlife tracks and sign.
The leisurely hike will begin at 9 a.m. and take about three hours, and snowshoes may be necessary. If there is no snow on Jan. 10, the hike will take place on Jan. 31.
