Shoe-throwing Iraqi journalist – a lone shoer or a conspiracy of millions?

If the statue of Saddam Hussein being torn down in Baghdad was the iconic image marking the successful invasion of Iraq, is the image of an Iraqi journalist throwing his shoes at President Bush a symbolic summary of the following five years? Was the reporter just a lone looney, or do his actions reflect the frustrations and anger of the general population of Iraq?
