Early Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving dinner is served to people at the Salvation Army (above) in Bangor on Wednesday. Marc Eno (left) and Melissa Dow put utensils on the tables at the Salvation Army as they prepare for the annual Thanksgiving dinner. Salvation Army Capt. Joshua Lyle said that they were prepared to serve meals to at least 200 people more than in previous years. “We traditionally serve Thanksgiving dinner the day before because there are many other options for people on Thanksgiving Day,” Lyle said. “Why not help people in need the day before?”
