Somerset County grand jury indicts 25

SKOWHEGAN, Maine — Troy Patterson, 34, of St. Albans was indicted this week by a Somerset County grand jury on charges of aggravated assault, terrorizing, burglary and aggravated criminal trespass.

Patterson is charged with entering a neighbor’s home and assaulting the homeowner on Sept. 21. During the altercation, Patterson was stabbed and the homeowner received head injuries, allegedly from a baseball bat.

Patterson was airlifted to Eastern Maine Medical Center and has recovered.

Charles Sinclair, 59, of Cornville was indicted on charges of manslaughter and operating under the influence on Sept. 26 in Madison. Faith McKenzie, 38, of Bingham was killed when an oncoming Dodge pickup, driven by Sinclair, apparently drifted into her lane and struck her Subaru nearly head-on just north of Clough’s Corner on U.S. Route 201 in Madison.

Olivia R. Beane, 30, treasurer of the First Congregational Church in Bingham, was indicted on charges of theft and forgery related to the theft of more than $87,000 over four years. Police investigators reported that Beane allegedly took money from the Sunday collection plate and wrote herself checks drawn on the church’s account.

In all, 25 people were indicted on 89 charges. They are all scheduled for arraignment in Somerset County Superior Court on Dec. 1.

Raymond Ellis Jr., 19, Skowhegan, burglary and theft.

Joshua J. McGahan, 28, Concord, N.H., three counts of trafficking in scheduled drugs, conspiracy to trafficking and criminal forfeiture.

Kevin M. Truman, 20, Waterville, two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and theft of services.

Matthew J. Davidson, 22, Fairfield, six counts of burglary, six counts of theft and receiving stolen property.

Patrick Ruiz, 33, Central Islip, N.Y., trafficking in scheduled drugs, two counts of possession of schedule drugs and conspiracy to traffic.

Joanne Rosalie Cwikla, 54, Madison, 12 counts of aggravated forgery

Russell Berry, 19, Skowhegan, robbery.

Jose A. Flores, 20, Bronx, N.Y., robbery.

Reginald Bickford, 45, Madison, two charges of unlawful sexual contact.

Dalmon Landry, 55, Anson, assault on an officer.

Dustin Page, 19, Skowhegan, burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Michael Coyne, 27, Mercer, theft.

Pamela R. Moulton, 50, aka Pamela Jones, Waterville, criminal operating under the influence, aggravated operating after revocation and operating after revocation.

Arthur A. Sousa, 50, Troy, operating under the influence.

Shane W. Ricci, 32, Brookfield, Mass., failure to appear.

Adrien L. Patenaude, 18, Starks, burglary and two counts of theft.

Allen J. Asselin, 19, Starks, burglary and two counts of theft.

Brett H. Johnson, 48, Skowhegan, unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs.

Richard A. Beebe, 37, Billerica, Mass., burglary.

Ronald Shedd, 37, Decatur, Ala., criminal threatening.

Tony L. Terry, 22, Providence, R.I., trafficking in scheduled drugs and possession of scheduled drugs.
