LANSDALE, Pa. – Pauline M. “Polly” Williamson, 85, a long time Lansdale, Pa., resident, died Nov. 17, 2008, at Gwynedd Square Center, Lansdale, where she lived the last five years. Born in Bar Harbor, she was the daughter of the late Arthur P. and Gertrude M. (Ricker) Falkenstrom. She was the wife of more than 58 years to the late Clinton Williamson, who died in 2000. The couple lived in Bar Harbor, before moving to Lansdale, Pa., in 1950. Mrs. Williamson worked for the former Ford Motor Co., Lansdale, Pa., as a quality control inspector, retiring in 1980, after 27 years of service. She was past president of the auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1761, Lansdale, Pa., and a former member of Jacksonville Methodist Church, and had held the position of assistant steward of Jacksonville Grange. Surviving are her son, Eugene Williamson and his wife, Regina, of Lansdale, Pa.; three grandchildren, Paul Wion and his wife, Sandra, Eric Williamson and his wife, Susan, and Dawn Williamson and her fianc’, James Klein; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Ella Hudson and her husband, Joseph, and Gertrude Ruffo, all of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Charlotte Freiler and her husband, Arthur, of Tracy, Calif. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Michael A. Williamson in 1982; a daughter, Gail E. Wion in 2001; two brothers, Arthur and John; and a sister, Sylvia. Relatives and friends may greet the family noon-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, Pa., and are invited to attend her funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Grand View Hospital Hospice, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA 18960.
