Crews find missing boater in Maine lake

The Associated Press

RAYMOND, Maine — The body of a 76-year-old man who apparently fell from his boat while fishing has been recovered from Sebago Lake.

Authorities said the body of Richard Robinson of Lanesborough, Mass., was found Friday. A volunteer searcher found the body in Raymond between Frye Island and the mainland.

The Maine Warden Service said Robinson was reported missing after the boat he was on was found Thursday evening with its fishing lines out but no one on board.

Officials said Robinson apparently drowned, but the medical examiner’s office will examine the body to determine the cause of death.
