LINNEUS – Wyona M. Nason Russell died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at Houlton, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 12, 1938, in Haynesville, the oldest child of Charles and Grace Nason. Wyona was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved being with her family. She is survived by her son, Anthony Nason of Presque Isle; grandson, Stephen Nason of Washburn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Nason, Clara and Hollis Jipson of Hogdgon and Janice Farrar of Eddington; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Gale Nason of Linneus, Calvin and Berle Nason and Lynwood Nason, all of Houlton, Dwayne and Nancy Nason of Bangor and Mahlon and Linda Nason of Haynesville; several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Cheri Williams; and special daughter, Tammi Easler. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Ervin Russell; and a half sister, Vina Deering. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at the Houlton Wesleyan Church, Kelleran Street.
