Happy Birthday to My Daughter TARA P. SMITH Feb. 27, 1982 – Feb. 27, 1999 and ROCKY T. UGAREK April 25, 1981 – Feb. 27, 1999 You left home seven years ago today to take your very first ride with your friends, not knowing this would be the last time we would see you. We miss hugging you, telling you how much you’re loved, seeing your beautiful smile, blue eyes and genuine laughs. We missed out on the life and dreams that you and Rocky had planned. We were very lucky to have spent 17 wonderful years with you. You left us with many memories; the two cats you loved so much, participating in gymnastics, Girl Scouts, synchronized swimming and dancing at Morita’s, swimming at the Y, singing the Woodchuck song with Anne Dodson at Asa Adams School, cheerleading at Orono High School, going to father daughter dances, and the many vacations we spent together. When we think of the life that you had and how you blossomed from a young girl into a beautiful young lady, you made us very proud to be your parents. Now, given time, we realize life is not measured by the number of breaths that we take, but by the moments that take our breath away, and Tara, “you have given us a lifetime of those.” We Love You, Mom & Dad
