MILFORD and CLEARWATER, Fla. – Rosemary Ann (Hughes) Whitmore, 61, passed away peacefully Dec. 13, 2006, surrounded by her family while at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 20, 1945, in Bangor, the daughter of William T. and Syldania (Young) Hughes Sr. Rosemary lived in Bangor and later moved to Old Town, where she was a graduate of Old Town High School. She loved camping, fishing, yard sailing and craft fairs, but most of all being surrounded by her family and close friends. Rosemary is survived by her children, Syldania Coulombe and her husband, Timothy, Wendy Whitmore and fiance, Kevin Polk, Amy Isreal and her husband, Jere; brothers and sisters, James E. Hughes and his wife, Adria, Barbara Harrington and her husband, Michael, Michael Hughes and his wife, Ellen, and Pauline Clukey; sister-in-law, Lorretta Hughes, several grandchildren, great -grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Jean Gilley and Tammie Carroll. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, William T. Hughes Jr.; a sister, Lillian Hughes; and a grandson, Adam Whitmore. A memorial service will be held noon Saturday, Dec. 16, at Faith Tabernacle, 35 Down St., Indian Island, Old Town.
