ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Rosaria D. “Rose” Therrien, 99, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at Palm Gardens of Largo, Fla. She moved here in 1998, from her native Old Town. She worked for many years and retired from Penobscot Shoe Co. She loved her family, each and every one of them and was a very giving person to everyone. She was a member of Holy Family Church of Old Town. She sang in the choir for many years and donated many hours, working in the church thrift shop. She loved to walk and be outdoors and could often be seen with her shopping cart, delivering groceries to people who could not get out to get their own. She spent her life always helping someone, or caring for people who needed it. Survivors include a niece, Carol LeBlanc of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two nephews, Wayne Therrien of Stillwater and George Therrien of Bradley, and their families. A memorial mass will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 19, 2005, at Holy Family Church, Old Town.
