ROBERT ‘BOB’ J. HERRICK

ELLSWORTH – Robert “Bob” J. Herrick, 65, died Dec. 15, 2004, at an Ellsworth hospital. He was born in Ellsworth, Oct. 12, 1939, the son of Elmer “Bud” and Gertrude (Brooks) Herrick. Bob graduated from Ellsworth High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked many years for Harold McQuinn Construction Company. He was a member of the American Legion, No. 109 and No. 2743 Elks Lodge of Ellsworth. He is survived by his beloved wife, Isabelle “Cookie” (Griffin) Herrick; sons, Michael and his wife, Kalie of Laramie, Wyoming, Douglas and his wife, Tanya of Rifle, Colo.; a brother, Paul and his wife, Charlene of Hampden; grandchildren, Cody, Colin, Mikaela, Ashley and Austin; several aunts, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer “Bud” and Gertrude Herrick; and a sister, Linda Herrick Holt. A service of remembrance will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at the Elks Lodge of Ellsworth, 317 High St., Ellsworth. At Bob’s request contributions in his memory may be made to the Shriner’s Burn Hospital, care of Anah Temple, P.O. Box 735, Bangor, ME 04402-0735.
