WASHBURN and LIMESTONE – Phillip Belmain Jr., 55, died unexpectedly April 26, 2007, at his Limestone residence. He was born June 9, 1951, in Caribou, the son of Phillip and Ethel (Doody) Belmain Sr. He was a graduate of Caribou High School and the University of Maine – Presque Isle. Mr. Belmain was employed as a draftsman for the Tacoma Boat Building Co., Tacoma, Wash., as well as the CAD department at L.L. Bean. He is survived by two daughters, Andrea Churchill of Washburn and Wendy Churchill of Fort Fairfield; three brothers, Randy Belmain and Rodney Belmain, both of Washburn and Steven Belmain of Caribou; three sisters, Mary Adams of Caribou, Ellen Belmain of Georgia and Heather Belmain of Limestone; a close friend, Delmar Maxwell; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at Washburn Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Extension Cemetery.
