WOODLAND – Olga Ostlund, 90, beloved wife of the late G. Oscar Ostlund, died Jan. 20, 2004, at a Van Buren healthcare facility after a long illness. She was born at New Sweden, June 7, 1913, the daughter of Olof and Elisabet (Persson) Myhr. A Woodland resident for many years, she was a devoted member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Caribou. Olga enjoyed her family and friends and was also fond of bingo and bowling. After leaving her Woodland residence she lived in Limestone for about five years before finally moving to Van Buren. She is survived by one son, Adrian Ostlund and his wife, Julia of Woodland; four grandchildren, Brian Ostlund and his wife, Laura, of Caribou, David Ostlund and his wife, Carolee, of Ft. Meade, Md., Sharon Moulton and her husband, Richard, of Durham, Angela Barnett and her husband, Mathew, of Portland; seven great-grandchildren, Richard Moulton Jr., Jessica Ostlund, Ann Ostlund, Megan Ostlund, Caitlin Ostlund, Joshua Ostlund, Samuel Barnett. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Jan. 13, 1999 and three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren. Springtime graveside committal services will be held at the New Sweden Cemetery and will be announced by the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Donations in Olga’s memory may be made to the Maine Swedish Colony Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
