NORRIS E. SIBLEY BANGOR – Norris E. Sibley, 74, husband of Ellen (Bamber) Sibley, died Oct. 31, 2003, at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. He was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Ellsworth, the son of Ray and Mattie (Noyes) Sibley. Norris was a member of Forest Lodge of Masons, Springfield, and was employed by H. O. Bouchard Trucking until his retirement. He enjoyed his camp in Prentiss and his summers at Pleasant Lake. In addition to his wife of 51 years, Ellen, he is survived by three children, Cheryl and Ernie Griswold of Bangor, Laurence and Debbie Sibley of Levant, and Vicki Morin and Allen Treadwell of Glenburn; two grandchildren, Laurence Sibley Jr. and Lynn Martin; and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Madisen Hewett; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Louise Worster; and a brother, Laurence Sibley. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Bean officiating.
