BROWNVILLE JUNCTION – Mryon G. Tufts Jr., 87, died Dec. 6, 2006, at his home. He was born June 15, 1919, in Brownville Junction, the son of Myron and Eva Mae (Ryder) Tufts Sr. Myron served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a heavy truck driver for ammo and booms, for the front line troops. After his service to his country he worked for many years with the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife in his native Brownville Junction. He is survived by a cousin, Gloria Roberts of Brownville Junction. Graveside services will be held Monday, Dec. 11, at Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville Junction, with the Rev. Michelle St. Cyr, pastor of United Methodist Church, Brownville Junction, officiating. Arrangements are by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
