MARSHELL M. ‘SHELLY’ PETE

LINCOLN – Marshell M. “Shelly” Pete, 38, wife of David Pete, died Sept 19, 2004, at a Boston hospital, after a long illness. She was born Dec. 21, 1965, in Bridgeport, Conn., the daughter of Robert C. and Sandra (Clark) Springer. Shelly was a waitress at Wing Wah Restaurant, a job she enjoyed very much. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved NASCAR racing and cheering for her favorite driver, Tony Stewart. In addition to her father and mother of Mattawamkeag, and her husband of Lincoln, she is survived by three sons, Christopher, Justin and Dillon, all of Lincoln; two brothers, Robert Springer of Lincoln and Earl Springer of Virginia; two sisters, Laurie Springer and Kim Tolman, both of Lincoln, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 12-2 p.m. Wednesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Shaw officiating.
