LAKEWOOD, Wash., and FORT FAIRFIELD – M. “Alice” Brayall, 92, died peacefully Dec. 8, 2007, in her sleep. She was born June 26, 1915, in Drumond, New Brunswick, the daughter of Solomon and Marie (Cote) Theriault. She attended the Green Ridge School and was the devoted and beloved wife of Burton R. Brayall, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend, Alice was a blessing to everyone who knew her. A communicant of St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield, for more than 60 years, she was active in the Altar Society, the CCD program and the Daughters of Isabella, Santa Maria Circle No. 427. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Marilla Gay Kelley and her husband, Robert, Mary Elizabeth Freitag and her husband, John, both of Rockville, Conn., M. Lorriane Horst and her husband, Robert, of Lakewood, Wash., Samuel B. Brayall of Dedham; one sister, Mary Levesque Wink of Calimesa, Calif.; her 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and her family of friends in Fort Fairfield. To her final day, she enjoyed her video calls, telephone call, letters and many cards that she received in the 18 months that she lived in Washington. She would wish to be remembered in your prayers. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield, where an evening vigil service will be conducted 7:30 p.m. by the Rev. David Raymond. The Rosary will be recited 8 p.m. by the officers and members of Daughters of Isabella. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Denis Catholic Church, 147 Main St., Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. David Raymond, celebrant. Spring interment will be at St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall 260 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, immediately after the funeral Mass.
