GLENBURN – Lola P. Lyford, 69, passed away Aug. 27, 2005 at a local nursing facility. She was born in Lincoln Oct. 12, 1936, the daughter of Edward and Ellen Worster. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lyford Sr.; sister, Elva Rancourt, and her husband, Reggie, of Winterport; son, Tony Nowell, and his wife Linda, of Brewer; daughter, Faye Gray and her husband, Bob, of Hampden; Belinda Nadeau, and her husband, Matt, of Brewer; Nancy Cole, and her husband, Eric, of Hermon; Robert Lyford Jr., and his wife Jody, of Stetson; Jenny Roy, and her husband Mike, of Glenburn; David Lyford, and his wife Darlene, of Corinth; grandchildren, Matthew Gray of Brewer, Melissa Gray of Bangor; great-grandchild, Cassie Gray of Orrington. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, including favorites, Newell Lyford of Charleston, and George King of Springfield; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Lola will be remembered by two special nieces, Robin Bishop, of Exeter, and Lee Worster, of Johnston, R.I. Burial services will be held 1:30 p.m., Sept. 4, 2005, at Evergreen Cemetery in Milo.
