ROQUE BLUFFS – Lima L. Watts, 93, died Feb. 19, 2004, at Machias. She was born Nov. 27, 1910, at Lubec, the daughter of J. Mariner and Lillis “Birdie” (McNevins) Thaxter. She was a member of the Roque Bluffs Grange, the Jonesboro Union Church and the Kennebec Farm Bureau. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Watts. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Foster and husband, Laurence, of Medway, Norma Manchester and husband, Norris, of Machias; a son, Franklin Watts and wife, Mildred, of Medway; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. It had been Lima’s request that a graveside service be held. In consideration of her family and friends, a service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias. Interment will be in the Roque Bluffs Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Roque Bluffs Community Chapel, care of Marilyn Tenney, 119 Johnson Cove Road, Roque Bluffs, ME 04654.
