BREWER – Lillian M. Brown, 84, died Jan. 28, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Danforth, the daughter of Chester and Myrtle (Moody) Byers. Lillian graduated from Brewer High School in 1938. She was a U.S. Postmaster in Cherryfield for a number of years, a member of the Holden Congregational Church and very active in its activities, and a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Milton Brown of Brewer; three daughters, Ann Mulroney of West Palm Beach, Fla., Shirley Brahams of Sutherlin, Ore., Catherine Hanley of Vancouver, Wash.; one brother, Chester Byers Jr. of Bad Tolz, Germany; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held later this spring at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with Rev. Katherine M. Fisk, pastor of the Holden Congregational Church, officiating. Spring interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
