LEONARD R. LEVESQUE

FORT FAIRFIELD – Leonard R. Levesque, 64, husband of Lynda Levesque, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, after a long illness. He was born Jan. 10, 1940, at Fort Fairfield, the son of Donald and Margaret (DeForest) Levesque. He attended Fort Fairfield schools and served in the U.S. Army during the late 1950′s and early 1960′s. Leonard was married to Lynda L. Norsworthy on May 21, 1960, was employed in the farming industries for many years and was a communicant of the St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield. He was predeceased by his mother and is survived by his wife of 43 years of Fort Fairfield; his father of Fort Fairfield; three sons, Stephen Levesque of Georgia, Joseph Levesque, Tony and his wife, Suzanne Levesque, all of Fort Fairfield; three daughters, Annette Martin and her husband, Gilman of Spring City, Tenn., Kimberly Levesque of Fort Fairfield, Tammy Theriault and her husband, Dwayne, of Casco; one brother, Donald Levesque and his wife, Betty, of Alabama; nine grandchildren, Michael Martin of Spring City, Tenn., Mandy Levesque of Fort Fairfield, Timothy Levesque and Patience Levesque, both of Presque Isle, Joseph Levesque of Buckfield, Anthony, Joshua, Laura and Nathaniel Levesque, all of Fort Fairfield; several nieces and nephews. A graveside committal service will be conducted later in the spring at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Levesque to his family, to be used according to their wishes, care of Dorsey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 567, Fort Fairfield 04742.
