MORENO VALLEY, CALIF. – James Patrick Keegan, 65, of Moreno Valley for the last 28 years and a resident of Riverside County for 45 years, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Riverside, Calif. He was born Nov. 25, 1939, in Van Buren, to the late James T. and Lorraine (Violette) Keegan. Jim was a self employed businessman in Moreno Valley for 30 years in the commercial and industrial air conditioning business. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He was married Sept. 22, 1962, in Riverside, Calif., to Carol (Trudeau) Keegan. In addition to his wife of Moreno Valley, he is survived by a son, James P. Keegan of Moreno Valley; sister, Kathleen Ashley of Van Buren; uncle Russell Violette of Sun City, Calif.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Keegan. Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, Calif., where visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005 and recitation of the Rosary with be at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 25075 Cottonwood Ave., Moreno Valley, with Fr. Ronald Guzman officiating. Interment with full military honors will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif.
