BANGOR – James M. McClellan passed away unexpectedly April 13, 2005. He was born Feb. 19, 1956, in Long Beach, Calif., the son of Mel and Norma McClellan. James, “Jimmy” to all who new him, was known around Bangor for his amazing musical talents on the slide guitar and mandolin. Jimmy was an avid sports enthusiast that embraced the Boston Red Soxs and New England Patriots. Jimmy never met a stranger and was full of hopes and dreams for his future. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. To Jimmy’s friends, celebrate his life with music and laughter as he did every day. He is survived by his family members, Don and Sue McClellan of Eugene, Ore., Richard McClellan of San Diego, Calif., and Mark and Maureen McClellan of Milford. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. This includes a special uncle, Bob McClellan Sr.; special cousins, Bob McClellan Jr., Tad McClellan, and Scott McClellan; as well as very special niece, Amy; and nephews Joshua, Jessee, and Mathew. A special thank you to Marcia Gray, family therapist, for her spiritual guidance; Mike Andrick, Hal Haines and Melinda Davis for their support and friendship. There will be no calling hours. A memoriam will be held Sunday, April 24, 2005, at his brother, Mark McClellan’s home in Milford. A family service will be held later in the spring when all can come together.
