HOULTON – James A. Logue Sr., 86, died May 24, 2004, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1917, at New Limerick, the son of Charles and Effie (Henderson) Logue. Jim served as a Sea-bee in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed by Harry Bass Farms for many years. He is survived by one son, James Logue Jr. of Houlton; four daughters, Bonnie Reardon of Rodchester, N.H., Sandra Logue of Monticello, Shireen Belyea and Debra Logue, both of Houlton; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Lillian Stairs of Houlton. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn Logue, in 1995. At Jim’s request there will be no services. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery. A service of Dunn Funeral Home.
