RAYMOND – Jackson P. Maynard, 64, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at Maine Medical Center, Portland. He was born March 23, 1943, in Presque Isle, the son of Preston and Esther Maynard. He attended school in Washburn. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Bridgecorp Construction, Augusta. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966. He was stationed in Vietnam for 18 months. Jack was predeceased by his brother, Darrell Maynard; and sister-in-law, Germaine Maynard. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Maynard and stepson, Scott Libby of Raymond; two brothers, Ronnie Maynard of Presque Isle, and Gary Maynard and spouse, Carlene, of Washburn; and two sisters, Joanne Bouchard and husband, Gary, of Caribou, and Penny Miller and husband, Robert, of Washburn. An open house will be held 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at 1134 Washburn Road, Washburn. Relatives and friends are welcome. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Riverside Extension Cemetery, Washburn.
